ABB PSTX softstarts are ABB’s most advanced softstarter range, combining motor starting, stopping, protection and process control capabilities within a single unit. Designed for demanding industrial applications, the PSTX range provides advanced motor protection, intelligent control functions and flexible communication capabilities to help maximise system performance and reliability.
Suitable for motor currents from 30 A to 1250 A, with inside-delta connection capability up to 2160 A, ABB PSTX softstarts are widely used on pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, mills, mixers and other demanding industrial equipment where precise motor control and protection are important requirements.
The PSTX combines integrated bypass functionality, advanced motor protection and extensive communication options with features such as torque control, pump cleaning, dynamic braking and standstill braking. The result is a comprehensive softstarter solution designed to improve operational reliability, reduce downtime and increase application productivity.
