The ABB PSR range is ABB’s compact family of softstarters, designed to provide a simple and effective solution for motor starting and stopping applications. With built-in bypass functionality and a compact footprint, PSR softstarters help reduce panel space requirements while improving motor reliability and reducing mechanical stress during start and stop sequences.

Suitable for motor currents from 3 A to 105 A, ABB PSR softstarts are widely used on pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors and general machinery where controlled motor starting is required without the complexity of more advanced motor control solutions.

PSR softstarters provide an efficient alternative to conventional star-delta starting methods, helping reduce starting current while delivering smooth motor acceleration and deceleration. They are particularly suited to installations where simplicity, ease of commissioning and compact dimensions are important considerations.
